Before spider veins are treated, the leg vessels need to be examined in detail using duplex ultrasound and a venous pressure measurement.
This allows all veins (including the deep and invisible ones under the skin) and their blood flow to be visualized. "Broken" venous valves (so-called "internal varicose veins") and possible congestion can be detected or ruled out, which are often the cause of spider veins.
Only after this clarification is it possible to say what results can be achieved with spider vein treatment, how many sessions will be required until they have disappeared, whether foam sclerotherapy or laser will be used and how high the risk is that new spider veins will reappear.
We understand that an aesthetic treatment needs to be carefully considered. We are therefore happy to take the time to answer all your questions during a no-obligation initial consultation. Arrange your consultation appointment at one of our VENENCLINICs today.
If you would like a brief online preliminary clarification before your consultation, you can also contact us by e-mail.
No matter which way you want to contact us - we look forward to hearing/reading from you!
