SkleroLase™ is an exclusive procedure developed by us for the treatment of very fine red spider veins and superficial reticular veins, which are often difficult to fully treat with foam sclerotherapy alone. The method is specifically designed as an add-on to foam sclerotherapy and delivers significantly improved results, especially for very fine red vessels.
Unlike conventional sclerotherapy, SkleroLase™ first uses a specialised laser system to create a multitude of microchannels in the skin. Through these microchannels, a highly concentrated sclerosing agent can then be precisely delivered into the affected vessels. This allows even very superficial vessels to be treated effectively, which often remain resistant with standard techniques.
SkleroLase™ is always performed in combination with foam sclerotherapy, as the two methods complement each other perfectly: foam sclerotherapy treats larger spider and reticular veins, while SkleroLase™ specifically targets the remaining fine red vessels.
Particularly suitable for
The finer and redder the spider veins, the more demanding the treatment. SkleroLase™ was developed precisely to achieve better results in these cases.
The treatment takes only a few minutes, is barely noticeable and requires no special aftercare. A small dressing is applied briefly after the procedure. Compression stockings are not necessary with our technique.
You can return to your normal daily activities the very next day, including sports, swimming and even sun exposure. Wearing tight bandages or compression garments is not required.
As with conventional foam sclerotherapy, a single treatment is usually not sufficient with SkleroLase™. Spider veins consist of more vessels than are visible on the surface, as many connections run deeper beneath the skin.
For optimal and long-lasting results, several sessions are typically required. On average, 2 to 6 treatments at intervals of 2 to 3 weeks are sufficient, although more sessions may be needed depending on skin type, vascular structure and individual findings.
Important to know: if treated vessels initially appear darker, blurred or more visible after a few days, this is usually a positive sign. It indicates that the vessels are responding to the treatment and that the breakdown process has begun.
Dr. Linde developed SkleroLase™ as a modern treatment concept specifically designed for very fine and difficult-to-treat spider veins. By combining foam sclerotherapy with laser-assisted microchannel technology, results can be achieved that are often not possible with conventional methods.
Our specially trained staff work according to the proven Easy Concept and provide this treatment at the highest professional level – gentle, efficient and backed by many years of experience in aesthetic vein treatments.
SkleroLase™ is performed as an add-on to foam sclerotherapy. As spider and reticular veins are considered an aesthetic concern, treatments are usually not covered by health insurance and are therefore self-paid.
The cost of a SkleroLase™ treatment varies depending on how it is performed. A prior ultrasound examination of the legs is a billable medical service (approx. CHF 700.00) and is charged according to TARDOC.
| SkleroLase™ treatment (in combination with foam sclerotherapy) | CHF 350.00 |
